The Jack Daniels 125th Anniversary decanter was produced in 1990 to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the establishment of the Jack Daniel Distillery.

Two versions of this bottle were produced - one for the American market, and one for Europe.
The American version is on the right of the picture above, and actually has the words "125th Anniversary" inscribed on the glass decanter, as well as the front of the presentation box. The European version is identical, except the words "125th Anniversary" are replaced with "Tennessee Whiskey" on both the decanter and the box. This is more clearly visible on the pictures below. The bottle neck tags are identical, bar the wording, but the lids are different colours, one is black and the other is white. In addition, the text on the decanter is whiter on the European version of the decanter.

These decanters come fully sealed, but a nice touch is that the glass decanter stopper is presented in the box, ready for installation once the decanter is open.

Obviously, availability of these decanters is very limited now considering their age. My thanks to
Marloo and Jay for sourcing these bottles for me. The best place to find these decanters now
is ebay, where you would expect to pay anywhere upwards of $160 for a fully sealed, boxed and
tagged version of these decanters.
